Clinton, N.Y. - Senior goaltender Alex Morin (St. Hubert, Quebec) saved all 38 shots he faced and sophomore Barclay Gammill (New Canaan, Conn.) scored the game's only goal, as the visiting Trinity College Bantams posted a 1-0 shutout against the Hamilton College Continentals in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's ice hockey action this evening at Russell Sage Rink.  Trinity, ranked No. 3 in the nation, improves to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the NESCAC, while the Continentals fall to 4-1-1 overall and 0-1-1 in the league with their first loss in four games.  The game was a re-match of the 2017 NESCAC Championship Finals, won, 3-2, in overtime by the Bantams on March 5.  Trinity will play another league game tomorrow at 3 p.m. at Amherst College.

The teams combined for 79 shots on goal, but Morin and Hamilton senior goalie Evan Buitenhuis (Burlington, Ontario) combined for 70 saves.  Morin stopped 11 shots in the first period to keep the game scoreless, 15 in the second, and 14 in the third to preserve the Bantam victory.  Trinity killed off five Continental power plays while Hamilton committed just one infraction.  Gammil scored from fellow sophomore Andy Chugg (Mesa, Ariz.) at the 11:28 mark of the second period.
