  • Trinity Men's Lacrosse Defeated on the Road at Bates

    Lewiston, Maine - The Trinity College Bantams dropped a 15-7 New England Small Conference Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's lacrosse matchup on Saturday afternoon at Garcelon Field to the Bates College Bobcats. Trinity falls to 1-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play while the Bobcats improve to 3-3 on the year and 1-2 in league play. The Bantams return to action on Monday night for a 7 p.m. non-conference game at Emmanuel College.

    Hartford, Conn. - With school out of session thanks to spring break, this year's 25th Bantams of the Week have been named, thanks to their strong performances on the lacrosse fields. Women's lacrosse senior tri-captain Allie Barrett (Concord, Mass.) and men's lacrosse junior attacker Ben Knaus (Ross, Calif.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Hartford, Conn. - Junior Ben Knaus (Ross, Calif.) recorded a hat trick and added two assists, but it was not enough as the Trinity College men's lacrosse team lost its home opener, 12-11 to Skidmore College on Tuesday evening at Jessee/Miller Field in Hartford.

    Bristol, R.I. - Bantam rookie Drew Kozub (Hopkinton, Mass.) scored four times in his collegiate debut while sophomore Andrew Collins (Brookfield, Conn.) recorded his first career hat-trick to lead the Trinity College men's lacrosse team to an opening day, 12-8 victory over the Roger Williams University Hawks on Saturday afternoon in Bristol, R.I.

    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College men's lacrosse team has announced the hiring of Scott Heisler as an assistant coach for the upcoming 2018 season.  Heisler, who comes to Hartford from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio, re-joins Head Coach Jason Tarnow (1st Season) who also came to Trinity from Baldwin Wallace and took over the reigns of the program in August.

    Hartford, Conn. -  Trinity College men's indoor track and field hurdler and men's lacrosse midfielder Jack MacInnis (North Andover, Mass.) was recently featured in a media story in the North Andover Citizen after collecting New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) All-Academic honors in both the winter and spring seasons.  MacInnis has been an All-New England honoree in the 60-meter hurdles the last two seasons.
  • Trinity Men's Lacrosse Assistant Brian Praetorius Accepts Head Coaching Job at Bard College

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College Men's Lacrosse Assistant Coach Brian Praetorius is leaving the program to accept the head coaching job at Bard College in the Liberty League. Praetorius joins the Raptors after serving as the recruiting coordinator and offensive coordinator for the Bantams for the last seven seasons.

    Hartford, Conn. – Trinity College is pleased to announce the hiring of Jason Tarnow as its new head men’s lacrosse coach. Tarnow, who comes to Hartford from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio, is the sixth men’s lacrosse coach in the 57-year history of Trinity’s varsity program.
