Clinton, N.Y. - The Trinity College men's squash team earned their 12th straight New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championship title with a a 9-0 victory over the Bates College Bobcats on Sunday afternoon at Hamilton College's Little Squash Center. Trinity dominated play, capturing each match in only three games.
The Bantams have handed the Bobcats three runner-up finishes in the last four NESCAC Tournaments with an 8-1 win last year and a 7-2 triumph in 2015. On its way to the finals, the Bantams shut out Middlebury in the semifinals and Bowdoin in the quarterfinals on Saturday. Top-seeded Trinity, also ranked No. 1 in the nation, improves to 15-0 with its 24th consecutive victory. No. 2-seeded Bates falls to 11-4.
