  • Trinity Men's Track and Field 2017-18 Season Recap

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College men's track and field team had another successful indoor and outdoor season during the 2017-18 academic year. During the indoor season, the Bantams finished tied for 23rd of 27 teams at the New England Division III Indoor Championships and in the spring, Trinity finished ninth in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championships.
  • Trinity's Roberts Named To Google Cloud Academic All-District Men's Cross Country/Track And Field Team

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College men's track and field senior Deven Roberts (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) was named to the 2017-18 Google Cloud Academic All-District Team, selected by CoSIDA, and as Trinity's senior male scholar athlete of the year (ECAC Award), while Bantam men's cross country and indoor track and field junior Lucas Duros (Wilmette, Ill.) was honored as the College's junior male scholar athlete of the year (Bob Harron Award).

    Hartford, Conn. - With last weekend's graduation officially putting a bookend on the 2017-18 academic year, this year's 35th and final Bantams of the Week have been named, thanks to their strong performances on the lacrosse field and track. Women's lacrosse senior Grace O'Donnell (Yarmouth, Maine) and men's track and field junior Alex Tomcho (Windsor, Conn.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Cambridge, Mass. - Sophomore Ace McAlister (Great Barrington, Mass.) won the 5,000-meter run by nearly eight seconds with a time of 14:48.96, as the Trinity College Bantams competed in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Men's Outdoor Track and Field Last Chance Meet this afternoon.

    Hanover, N.H. - Junior Luke Mayer (Morristown, N.J.) finished sixth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.29, as the Trinity College Bantams competed in the New England Men's Outdoor Track and Field Open Championships at Dartmouth College this weekend.

  • Trinity Men's Outdoor Track And Field Ties For 14th In New England Division III Championship Meet

    Cambridge, Mass. - Sophomore Ace McAlister (Great Barrington, Mass.) came in second place in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:50.58 to a tie with Springfield and Williams for 14th place among 30 scoring teams in the New England Division III Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology this weekend.

Women's track and field rookie Emma Buckley (Hanover, Mass.) and men's track and field junior Luke Mayer (Morristown, N.J.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

The Bantams collected 27 team points, three better than fellow New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) rival Wesleyan University.

    New London, Conn. - The Trinity College men's track and field squad finished fourth at the Coast Guard Invitational on Saturday afternoon in New London. The Bantams finished with 75 points, 17 points ahead of fifth-place Eastern Connecticut State.

    Medford, Mass. - The Trinity College men's outdoor track and field team turned in a 12th place finish at the Tufts University Snowflake Classic on Saturday afternoon in Medford. The Bantams return to action next weekend at the Coast Guard Invitational on Saturday, April 7, in New London.
  • Trinity Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Boasts Four First Place Finishes at Wesleyan University Spring Classic

    Middletown, Conn. - Four Trinity College men’s outdoor track and field athletes won events, as the Bantams competed in the Wesleyan University Spring Classic on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Ace McAlister (Great Barrington, Mass.) won the 1500-meter with a time of 407.23, while teammates Joseph Ruggiero (Manchester, Conn.) and Kyle Larrson (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) finished in second and third. McAlister also placed second in the 800-meter dash finishing less than a second from the first place time. First-year William Estony (Hopkington Junction, N.Y.) completed the 300-meter in 9:19.72 to finish first, followed by teammate Timothy Bogomolov (Lynn, Mass.) who scored second. Luke Mayer (Morristown, N.J.) recorded a 8.66 time to claim a first-place victory in the 60-meter hurdles. Deven Roberts (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) won the high jump at 1.83 meters to highlight the only Trinity victory in the field events.

    Medford, Mass. - Trinity College sophomore Samual Oyebefun (Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis) made the finals of the 60-meter dash after recording a time of 7.12 in the preliminary race at the Tufts National Qualifying Meet on Saturday afternoon. 
  • McAlister Breaks Personal Record at Last Chance Meet at Boston University

    Boston, Mass. - Trinity College sophomore harrier Ace McAlister (Great Barrington, Mass.) set a new personal record in the 3,000-meter run to lead the Bantams at the Last Chance Meet on Sunday, hosted by Boston University. McAlister crossed the finish line in 8:33.97, nearly five seconds better than his previous personal record which he ran two weeks ago at the Valentine Invitational.

Sophomore Timothy Bogomolov (Lynn, Mass.) finished seventh in the 3,000-meter run with a finals time of 9:21.88 while rookie William Estony (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) finished 10th in the same race, just four seconds behind Bogomolov.

    Roxbury Crossing, Mass. - Senior tri-captain Kyle Larrson (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) finished 15th in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:32.71 and first-year Stephen Tyler (Weston, Conn.) was 26th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:01.89, representing the Trinity College Bantams in the New England Open men's Indoor Track and Field Championships this afternoon at the Reggie Lewis Track and Field Center.
