  • Trinity Men's Cross Country Takes Ninth At Connecticut College Invitational

    Waterford, Conn. - Sophomore Ace McAlister (Great Barrington, Mass.) recorded an 11th-place time of 25:40.9 over 8,000 meters, as the Trinity College Bantams raced to ninth place as a squad in the Connecticut College Men's Cross Country Invitational at Harkness State Park this afternoon.

    Hartford, Conn. - As the cool fall air starts to take over, this year's fifth Bantams of the Week have been named, thanks to their strong performances on the field hockey field and cross country course. Sophomore field hockey midfielder Caroline Curtin (Andover, Mass.) and sophomore men's cross country harrier Ace McAlister (Great Barrington, Mass.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Bethlehem, Pa. - Sophomore Ace McAllister (Great Barrington, Mass.) finished 11th with a time of 24:57, as the Trinity College Bantams placed 19th as a team in the Paul Short Run college brown race at Lehigh University this afternoon.

    North Dartmouth, Mass. – Junior Joe Ruggiero (Manchester, Conn.) finished 25th overall with a time of 26:14 to lead the Trinity College Bantams to 10th place in the team standings at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth Men’s Cross Country Invitational this afternoon.

    Manchester, Conn. – Juniors Joe Ruggiero (Manchester, Conn.) and Zachary Joachim (Sudbury, Mass.) and first-year Stephen Tyler (Weston, Conn.) finished second, third, and fourth, respectively, to lead the host Bantams to first place in the season-opening Trinity Men’s Cross Country Invitational this afternoon at Wickham Park.

    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College men's cross country team, coached by George Suitor (26th season), returns a strong core of experienced veterans who will look to push the Bantams up the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) standings this fall. The team opens the season tomorrow at their home course of Wickham Park in Manchester, Connecticut in the annual Trinity Invitational.

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College cross country and track and field programs have announced the hiring of Michael Goulet as the team's new assistant coach for the fall of 2017. Goulet, a 2011 graduate of the college, joins the coaching staff after coaching for four years at the high school level in nearby Hebron.
