Trinity Women's Golf Finishes Sixth At First NESCAC Championship Tournament

Middlebury, Vt. - Senior co-captain Sarah Vimini (Easton, Conn.) tied for 37th with a two-day score of 177, as the Trinity College Bantams came in sixth place in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championship Tournament at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the campus of Middlebury College this weekend.  Trinity was competing in its first league championship and completes its inaugural varsity season with a team score of 827 to best seventh-place Bates by 64 strokes.  Williams won the team title with a score of 643.  Vimini shot a 90 on Saturday and improved three strokes with an 87 today, while Bantam sophomore Gabriela Christensen (Cottage Grove, Minn.) finished at 204 with a 97 on Saturday and a 107 today.  Trinity sophomore Lexi Butler (Old Westbury, Fla.) shot a 220, and senior co-captain Megan Logan (Westfield, Mass.) shot a 226.
