  • Trinity Wrestling Boasts 7th Place Finish at Ted Reese Invitational

    Gorham, Maine - The Trinity College wrestling team had four grapplers finish top-six in their respective weight class to lead the Bantams to an impressive seventh place finish at the Ted Reese Invitational on Saturday at Southern Maine University. Trinity finished seventh out of 16 competing programs with 73.5 points, just 2.5 behind sixth-place Apprentice and seven ahead of eight-place University of Maine.

    Springfield, Mass. - Junior captain Grant Sorensen (Moore, Okla.) finished sixth in the 157-pound bracket to lead the Trinity College wrestling team to a 14th-place finish at the Doug Parker Invitational on Saturday at Springfield College to open the 2017-18 season.

    Hartford, Conn. – Trinity College Wrestling Head Coach Marques Gales (5th season) has announced his team's schedule for the upcoming 2017-18 campaign. In total, the Bantams hit the mat 12 times during the year, highlighted by trips to four invitationals and both the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Futures and Duals tournaments.
