Hartford, Conn. - First-year Vanessa Raj (Teluk Kumbar, Malaysia) posted the most lopsided of six 3-0 Bantam victories, as the Trinity College women's squash team posted a 8-1 victory over the visiting Yale University Bulldogs in women's squash action this evening at Kellner Center.  Trinity, ranked No. 3 in the nation, improves to 8-1 with its seventh consecutive win over the Bulldogs.  No. 6-ranked Yale loses for the first time this year in eight matches.

Raj took care of Shiyuan Mao by a combined score of 33-12 in the No. 4 spot on the ladder, while senior co-captain Anna Kimberley (Colchester, England), ranked No. 22 nationally at the end of last year, blanked Celine Yeap, ranked No. 15 in the nation last season, 3-0 in the No. 3 spot to highlight the individual play.  Bantam junior co-captain Raneem Sharaf (Giza, Egypt) posted a 3-1 win at the top of the lineup against Jenny Sherl. Shareef was ranked No. 11 and Scherl was ranked No. 12 at the end of last season.  Yale's point came in the No. 8 match, as Selena Maity won, 3-1, over Trinity junior Salma El Defrawy (Cairo, Egypt).
