Trinity Women's Tennis Drops Home Opener To No. 4-Ranked Wesleyan

Hartford, Conn. - Senior tri-captain Ania Aliev (Needham, Mass.) and first-year Lily Everett (Atlanta, Ga.) won a decisive 8-2 decision at No. 3 doubles, but the Trinity College Bantams lost, 8-1, to the visiting Wesleyan University Cardinals in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's tennis action this afternoon at Assaiante Center.  The Bantams, ranked No. 29 nationally, fall to 4-6 overall and 1-4 in the NESCAC, while the No. 4-ranked Cardinals improve to 6-1 overall and 2-1 in the league.  Trinity hosts No. 2-ranked Williams on Sunday, April 15 at 1 p.m. in its next match.
