  • Four Trinity Volleyball Players Collect NESCAC All-Academic Honors

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College senior captain Claudia Varner (Port Washington, N.Y.) and sophormores Wyllie Boughton (Andover, Mass.), Erica Bruni (Palos Verdes, Calif.), and Anna Hackett (Wallingford, Conn.) were named to the 2017 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Fall All-Academic Team.

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College volleyball senior co-captain Claudia Varner (Port Washington, N.Y.) was named as a New England Women's Volleyball Association (NEWVA) Senior Classic All-Star while classmate Grace Metry (Grosse Pointe, Mich.) earned honorable mention honors for the event.

    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College volleyball team, under the direction of Head Coach Jen Bowman (14th season), finished the 2017 season with a 7-14 overall record and finished in tenth place in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) with a 1-9 record in league play. Despite an up and down season, the Bantams boast a bevy of youth that gained valuable experience this year and should set them up to compete for a playoff spot next fall.

Trinity wraps up the regular season with a 7-14 record and 1-9 mark in conference play while Bates improves to 12-13 on the year and 4-6 in league play.
