Cambridge, Mass. – Senior Chris Binnie (Kingston, Jamaica)
and sophomore Reinhold Hergeth (Bloemfontein, South Africa) posted
3-0 wins in the No. 3 and No. 8 matches, respectively, to lead the
visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 6-3 victory over the Harvard
University Crimson in men's squash action this evening at
Muir Courts. Twelve-time defending national champion Trinity,
ranked No. 1 in the nation, improves to 15-0 and extends the
longest winning streak in the history of intercollegiate varsity
sports to 239 in a row. No. 6-ranked Harvard falls to 7-4
with its second consecutive defeat. Trinity clinched it early
with wins in five of the first five matches. Crimson senior
Richard Hill (Singapore), ranked No. 20 among the nation's
individuals, posted a 3-1 upset in the No.1 match against No.
2-ranked Trinity senior tri-captain Parth Sharma (Jaipur,
India).
