Princeton, N.J. - Senior Thoboki Mohohlo (Johanessburg, South Africa) and first-year Utkarsh Baheti (Jaipur, India) posted a pair of 3-0 victories during the third wave to clinch a 5-4 victory for the visiting Trinity College Bantams over the Princeton University Tigers on men's squash action this afternoon on Jadwin Courts. Trinity, ranked No. 2 in the nation, closes the regular season with a 17-1 record, while the No. 4-ranked Tigers finish up at 10-4. Both teams will compete in the College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championships next weekend at Harvard.
Trinity led, 2-1, after the first wave thanks to a 3-0 sweep by junior Ziad Sakr (Tanta, Egypt) and a 3-2 victory by senior tri-captain Andrew Lee (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) at No. 7 and No. 6, respectively. Princeton's point come on the first loss of the year for Trinity rookie No. 1 Mike Aijanen (Jarvenpaa, Finland) by the Tigers' Youssef Ibrahim by a score of 3-1. Princeton tied it at 3-3 after the second wave with Trinity senior tri-captain Kush Kumar (New Delhi, India) providing a 3-1 triumph that kept the visitors even. Baheti blanked Princeton's William Ezratty at the bottom spot in the lineup, and Mohohlo came through with a 3-0 win over Daelum Mawji at the No. 4 position.
