Trinity College Men's Swimming Falls Short in Dual Match Against Colby, Hamilton

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Trinity College Men's Swimming program fell short to Colby College and Hamilton College, this Saturday afternoon. Despite the defeat the dual meet provided fantastic individual performances from the Bantams.

Junior, Liam Colleran (Norwalk, Conn.) led the Bantams today, placing first in both of his 50 and 100 yard backstroke events. Fellow teammate, Jackson Camporin (New Canaan, Conn.), also was a top-finisher in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. 

The Bantams pulled through some close races, as first-year Matthew Brown (Nahant, Mass.) came in second in the 1000 yard free race and the 200 yard IM. Placing second for the 50 yard fly, was sophomore Ben Lundy (Woodberry Forest, VA.). Junior, Tyler Trocchi (Tucker GA.) placed third in the 200-yard free and was joined by first-year Tadija Ciric (Nis, Serbia) who finished third in 100 yard fly.

The Bantams put together some solid relays today, with a second place finish in the 800 yard free relay as well as a third place finish in the 200 yard medley relay. Trinity returns to the water traveling to Wesleyan University on December 4th slated for 2 pm.
