Box Score New London, Conn. – The Trinity College men's tennis program proved victorious in its second contest of the season, downing Connecticut College 6-3 in its first road contest of the season. This win marked the program's first NESCAC victory of the season, and was the first of two NESCAC contests on the weekend. Trinity plays host to Bates Sunday, with start time slated for 3:30 p.m.
First-year Eduardo Sanchez-Carrion (Lima, Peru) and junior Ross Derose (Buffalo, N.Y.) took No. 2 doubles 8-6 before senior tri-captain Granville Kaynor (New Orleans, La.) and junior Charles Kilborn (Winnetka, Ill.) won their No. 3 doubles match 8-1. After losing their first two singles matches, Trinity senior Chris Bilicic (Del Mar, Calif.) and first year Henry Bilicic (Del Mar, Calif.) responded with wins of their own. Junior Charles Kilborn (Winnetka, Ill.) won in straight sets at No. 5, and Sanchez-Carrion took No. 6 singles to end the day.
