Worcester, Mass. - The Trinity College varsity eight finished second in a three-boat race against the host College of the Holy Cross Crusaders and the Brown University Bears in men's rowing action on Lake Quinsigamond this afternoon.  Trinity posted a time of 5:58.4 to edge the host Crusaders by 2.4 seconds and take second.  Brown, ranked No. 5 in the nation, won the race at 5:50.8.  In the second- and third-varsity eight races, the Bantams came in third with the Bears winning both by a large margin.  Trinity will return to Worcester to race against Worcester Polytechnic Institute of Technology tomorrow morning at 9:45 a.m.
