Box Score New London, Conn. – The Trinity College women's tennis program earned its second straight win over Connecticut College, posting an 8-1 victory against the Camels Saturday afternoon. Playing in its first road contest of the season, the Bantams improve to 2-0 overall and earned its first NESCAC win of 2021.
With its first of two weekend contests in the books, the Bantams play host to Bates on Sunday, April 18, at 2 p.m.
Once again, the Bantams took two of three doubles matches to begin the afternoon thanks to an 8-4 win from senior co-captains Lily Everett (Nassau, Bahamas) and Morgan Wilkins (Huntington Bay, N.Y.) at No. 2 and an 8-3 victory by junior Ashley Walker (New Canaan, Conn.) and senior captain Emma Wrazej (New York, New York). The Bantams took all singles contests in straight sets, with Wilkins shutting out her opponent in both sets.
