Ricardo Leme (Lake Villa, Ill.) tied for second with a score of 72 to lead the Trinity College Bantams to second of eight teams at the New England Small College Athletic Conference #1 championship event at The Ledges Golf Club this afternoon. Tufts won the team title at 300 and Trinity was just one behind at 301. Middlebury was third at 303, followed by Hamilton at 313 and Williams at 315. The teams will return to The Ledges on Sunday, May 2 for the NESCAC #2 event, as the 2021 NESCAC Men's Golf Champion will be determined by the team with the lowest cumulative 36-hole score from the two different NESCAC #1 and NESCAC #2 events.. Max Edminster (Takoma Park, Md.) and
Nicholas Li (Vancouver, British Columbia) tied for seventh at 76 and Bantam juniors
Maahin Gulati (Weston, Mass.) and
Jacob Steckler (Barrington, R.I.) were tied with each other for 13th at 77.
