Box Score Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College women's tennis program fought valiantly Sunday afternoon, but was upended in its only contest of the week, falling 7-2 to Colby. In the team's first road contest in over two weeks, both wins were hard-fought.

Trinity (2-2, 1-2 NESCAC) will play host to Tufts on Saturday, May 1, at noon, which will conclude the team's regular season schedule.

Trinity's underclassmen were sensational on Sunday, carrying the team to both victories. First-year Josaphine Kimball (New York, N.Y.) and sophomore Isabella Hartman (New York, N.Y.) were the only doubles team to escape with a victory, playing at No.1 on Sunday and walking away with an 8-7 (4) victory. In singles, first-year Angelina Shyltsyna (Odessa, Ukraine) split the first two sets 6-4 and 1-6 before taking the third set 10-6.
