Medford, Mass. - First-year Kennedy Mullen (Wilder, Vt.) finished third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.82 to highlight the day, as the Trinity College Bantams participated in the Tufts University National Qualifying Meet at Ellis Oval this afternoon.  Mullen, competing in the 400 meters individually for the first time as a collegian, was the first of three Trinity finishers among the top six in the race and her time was one of the fastest this spring in the New England region.  Fellow rookie Cate Kneebone (Winchester, Mass.) came in fifth place with a time of 1:01.00 and sophomore Julianna Kennedy (Andover, Mass.) was sixth just 0.92 seconds later.  First-year high jumper Gabby Grattan (Milton, Mass.) cleared 1.61 meters in the high jump to take second place in that event for the Bantams.
