Abdelrahman Nassar (New Cairo, Egypt) and first-year
Mateo Restrepo (Medellin, Colombia) posted 3-0 wins to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to an 8-1 victory over the Columbia University Lions in men's squash action this afternoon at SL Green StreetSquash Center. Trinity, ranked No. 4 in the nation, improves to 4-0 and the No. 6-ranked Lions are 6-2. Trinity visits No. 7-ranked Cornell tomorrow at noon.
Trinity led, 2-1, after the first wave thanks to wins by junior
Miko Aijanen (Jarvenpaa, Finland) at the top of the lineup and Restrepo at the seventh spot. Sophomore Harold Castiaux picked up Columbia'sonly point of the match, coming back from 2-1 down to defeat Marawan ElBorolossey (6th of October, Egypt) in five games. Ahmed Ismael (Cairo, Egypt) both came back from 2-1 deficits to post 3-2 victories. Ismael's fifth set was tied 10-10 against Adam Goad, but the Bantams scored the final two points. Senior Will Curtis (Joondalup, Australia) also won in five sets, taking the fifth, 11-9, at the eighth position in the lineup for the Bantams. Trinity sophomore
