BOSTON, Mass. – Trinity College men's indoor track and field junior
Travis Martin (New Haven, Conn.) finished sixth overall in the men's 1000 meter run at Boston University on Sunday in the John Thomas Terrier Classic. Martin clocked a 2:24.19 time, which was not only good for a personal best and Trinity program record, but also marks both a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) and USTFCCCA Division III National record.
Kinnard Hughes (Chicago, Ill.) placed fifth out of 16 finalist in the triple jump, recording a mark of 14.35 meters which marks a new personal best for the senior. Junior
Kai Bailin (Shutesbury, Mass.) also recorded a new PR in the 200 Meter Dash, placing 25
th with a time of 22.22 seconds.
In the distance runs, senior
Tim Lautenbach (Weston, Conn.) set a new PR by posting a 1:54.25 mark in the 800 Meter Run while sophomore
Sam Strymish (Newton, Mass.) also participated in the event clocking a new personal best, 2:00.37.
The Bantams next compete at Tufts University on Saturday Feb. 5 in the Tufts Cupid Challenge at 10 a.m.
