Trinity Men's Rowing Finishes Fourth At Quinsigamond Snake Regatta

WORCESTER, MASS. - The Trinity College Bantams entered three crews in the collegiate eights race at the Quinsigamond Snake Regatte on Lake Quinsigamond this afternoon.  Trinity's top boat finished fourth overall with a time of 13:28.232.  Holy Cross won the race, followed by MIT and Williams in front of Trinity.  Trinity's second crew was 10th with a time of 13:54.9 and its third boat was 20th at 14:40.211.

"I am really pleased with the fall overall and with the performances on the race course," said Trinity Head Coach Kevin MacDermott. "Tyler Gillette '24 led off all racers with a strong piece in the Collegiate 1x.  In later racing, all three crews rowed hard and well over the distance and placed well within their cohort.  With 13 sophomores and first-years in the first and second varsity crews, we feel like we are on-track, progressing nicely, and have huge room to improve in the next 6 months."
