HARTFORD, Conn. - Senior Nanna Carleke (Karlskrona, Sweden) and sophomore Jana Safy (Cairo, Egypt) both allowed only six total points in individual matches, as the Trinity College Bantams defeated the visiting Bowdoin College Polar Bears, 9-0, in the women's squash season opener for both teams this afternoon at Kellner Center. Carleke won, 11-3, 11-2, 11-1, in the No. 7 spot and Safy won, 11-4, 11-2, 11-0, at No. 3. All nine individual matches ended with 3-0 Trinity victories. The Bantams host Bates tomorrow at noon and Colby tomorrow at 3 p.m.
