PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Junior tri-captain
Julius Benthin (Norderstedt, Germany) posted a 3-0 win at the fifth position to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 5-4 victory over the University of Virginia Cavaliers in the consolation round of the College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championship Tournament this afternoon at Penn Squash Center. No. 3-seeded Trinity improves to 16-3 and will play Princeton tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. in the fifth-place match of the tournament. No. 7-seeded Virginia falls to 12-7.

Aly Tolba (Alexandria, Egypt) earned a decisive win at the No. 4 spot. After losing the first set, 17-15, he won three easy sets, 11-4, 11-5, 11-2. Bantam junior tri-captain
Miko Aijanen (Jarvenpaa, Finland) and sophomore
Advait Adik (Mumbai, India) pulled out marathon five-setters early. Aijanen won, 11-7, 11-4, 5-11, 10-12, 13-11 over Virginia's Aly Hussein at the top of the ladder in a match that lasted nearly two hours. Adik came back from a 2-0 hole against William Holey to win the third set, 14-12, and cruised from there, 11-2, 11-6. Will Curtis (Joondalup, Australia) added another hard-fought Bantam triumph to collect the fifth and decisive point. Curtis and Virginia's C.J. Baldini were tied, 2-2, before Curtis won the fifth, 11-6, to clinch the match.
