BOSTON, Mass. – Junior Travis Martin (New Haven, Conn.) broke a Trinity College men's indoor track and field school record in the 800 Meter Run, clocking an impressive 1:51.18 time for a 20^th place finish out of 49 total runners at the 2022 Boston University Last Chance Meet on Sunday. Martin's time all but officially qualifies him for the NCAA Division III National Championships as he awaits the announcement of national fields on Saturday, March 5. Additionally, senior captain Kinnard Hughes (Chicago, Ill.) placed fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 14.03 meters. Next up for Martin, Hughes and company is the Tufts National Qualifier in Medford, Mass. on Saturday March 5 at 10 a.m.
