MEDFORD, Mass. – Travis Martin and Larson Sippel won the 3000 meter and 600 meter events, respectively as the Trinity College men's indoor track and field team competed in its fifth meet of the season at Tufts University in the Tufts Cupid Challenge. 
 
Martin posted a 8:21.76 time in the 3000 meter while Sippel recorded a 600 meter time of 1:24:30. Meanwhile, Kai Bailin had himself a day, placing second in both the 200 and 400 Meter Dash. The junior posted a 22.45 in the "one-lap" race while clocking a 50.28 time twice around the indoor track. Sophomore Toby L'Esperance placed fourth in the 3000 meter (8:41.97) while Nicholas Dall recorded a 1:59.22 time in the 800 Meter Run. 
 
In the field events, Kinnard Hughes registered a leap of 6.92 meters in the long jump while Ethan Wilkie placed fourth and fifth in the shot put and weight throw, respectively. The first-year tossed the shot 14.38 meters and registered a 14.22 meter weight throw. 
 
Next up for the Bantams is the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at Boston University next weekend.
