ORLANDO, Fla. - The Trinity College Bantams took down the William Smith College Herons, 7-2, in women's tennis action this afternoon at the United States Tennis Association (USTCA) National Campus. Trinity improves to 2-1 and will face Colorado College tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. at the same location. The Bantams swept the doubles and dominated the bottom half of the single ladder. Josephine Kimball (New York, N.Y.) won, 8-3, at second doubles, while Walker won in two quick sets at fourth singles, and Kimball outlasted William Smith's Audrey Camacho, 11-9, in the third set to come out on top at second singles. Bantam rookies
Ella Baker (Gladstone, N.J.) and
Kennedy White (Golden, Colo.) were impressive with an 8-1 triumph at third singles and straight-set victories in singles.
