ORLANDO, Fla. – Sophomore Josephine Kimball (New York, N.Y.), Angelina Shyltsyna (Odessa, Ukraine) and senior captain Ashley Walker (New Canaan, Conn.) each won in two sets to lead the Trinity College women's tennis team to a 5-4 victory over Colorado College on Wednesday at the USTA National Tennis Center. The Bantams, which also lost to University of St. Thomas (Minn.), 6-1, are now 3-2 this spring and take on Grinnell College Friday at 3 p.m. In addition to the three singles victories, the Bantams, picked up a pair of doubles win as junior Isabella Hartman (New York, N.Y.) and Shyltsyna defeated Olivia Dicks and Maddy Meister, 8-2 while Kimball and Walker took down Gigi Jensen and Malia Rivera, 8-4. Additionally, Shyltsyna was the sole Bantam to earn a win over St. Thomas with a two-set sweep in the No. 3 spot against Elizabeth Girian.
