Angelina Shyltsyna (Odessa, Ukraine) and senior captain
Ashley Walker (New Canaan, Conn.) each won in two sets to lead the Trinity College women's tennis team to a 5-4 victory over Colorado College on Wednesday at the USTA National Tennis Center. The Bantams, which also lost to University of St. Thomas (Minn.), 6-1, are now 3-2 this spring and take on Grinnell College Friday at 3 p.m. In addition to the three singles victories, the Bantams, picked up a pair of doubles win as junior
Isabella Hartman (New York, N.Y.) and Shyltsyna defeated Olivia Dicks and Maddy Meister, 8-2 while Kimball and Walker took down Gigi Jensen and Malia Rivera, 8-4. Additionally, Shyltsyna was the sole Bantam to earn a win over St. Thomas with a two-set sweep in the No. 3 spot against Elizabeth Girian.
