AMHERST, Mass. – The Trinity College women's tennis team lost 9-0 to New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) foe, Amherst College on Wednesday afternoon at the Amherst Tennis Courts. The loss shifts the Bantams to 5-8 overall with an 0-7 mark in the conference while the Mammoths improve to 8-5 (5-2 NESCAC). Trinity resumes action Saturday at 10 a.m. when it hosts Middlebury College and Amherst takes on fellow NESCAC school Hamilton College same day, same time. First-year Ella Baker (Gladstone, N.J.) was the lone Bantam to earn a set victory on the day, taking down Amherst's Emily Sivarak 7-5 in the first set.
