GENEVA, Ohio – Senior Kinnard Hughes (Chicago, Ill.) placed ninth overall in the triple jump with a mark of 14.69 meters at the NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend. The Trinity College men's track and field captain recorded his second-best jump of his career to place ninth in the country against the most competitive field in DIII track and field history. Hughes finishes his storied career as a two-time national finalist in the men's triple jump, a school record holder, a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) champion and a two-year captain of the program.
