COLLEGEVILLE, Penn. —The Trinity College wrestling teams doesn't drop a match at the Manganaro Duals hosted by Ursinus College on Saturday with wins over the Bears (25-19), Oneonta (32-15), McDaniel (23-21) and Merchant Marine (41-12).
Adam Frost (Bennington, Vt.),
Adam Schaeublin (Salem, Mass.) and
Aiden Hebert (Bethany, Conn.) all go undefeated on the day. The Bantams host the New England College on January 11 at 6 p.m.
Against the host team, Schaeublin tacked on the first points for the Navy & Gold at 133 with a technical fall to put the team up 5-4. In the following match at 141, Hebert stacked on more points for the Bantams with a 13-11 decision.
Chris Perry (Mohegan Lake, N.Y.)Â followed suit with a 19-1 technical fall at 149 for a 13-4 lead. At 165,Â
Kevin Lyskawa (Merrimack, N.H.) added three points for Trinity with a 7-4 decision, followed by Frost's 13-5 major decision win at 174. A pair of falls and a narrow 3-2 decision closed the deficit for the Bears, but wasn't enough as Trinity came out on top, 25-19.
