#4 Men's Squash Dispatches Amherst, 9-0

AMHERST, Mass. – The fourth-ranked Trinity College Men's Squash team shut out host Amherst College, 8-0, in a match at the Davenport Squash Courts Tuesday night. The Bantams improve to 7-0 on the season, while the Mammoths dip to 2-2 overall.

Sophomore Joachim Chuah Han Wen defeated Adam Lichtmacher, 3-0 (11-5, 11-5, 14-12), while junior Mateo Restrepo captured a 3-0 (11-7, 11-8, 11-8) win over Neal Malani. Senior Advait Adik downed Jesse Brew, 3-0 (11-6, 11-6, 11-5), first year Andrik Lim Kai Shan blanked Matthew Granovsky, 3-0 (11-4, 11-6, 11-5) and sophomore Benedek Takacs defeated Kedar Nagaraj, 3-0 (11-6, 11-6, 11-4) to push the Bantams advantage to 5-0.

Junior Ahmed Ismail rolled past Abhimanyu Gupta, 3-0 (11-4, 11-6, 11-8), while sophomore Daniel Simon logged a 3-0 (11-9, 11-5, 11-9) win over Grady Herbert and first year Dmytro Shcherbakov dispatched Yeshwin Sankurati, 3-0 (11-8, 11-6, 11-5). Junior Marwan ElBorolossey delivered the final blow with a 3-1 (7-11, 11-7, 11-7, 11-7) win over Joseph Toth to secure the 9-0 sweep.

The Bantams will be back on the courts after the holiday break when they travel to Dartmouth College for a match on January 19th at 3:00 p.m.
