PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Aiden Hebert (Bethany, Conn.), Chris Perry (Mohegan Lake, N.Y.), Adam Frost (Bennington, Vt.) and Anders Klass (Braintree, Mass.) posted a 2-0 record on the day with a pair of wins each against Bridgewater State University and Rhode Island College on Friday as the Trinity College wrestling team split the meet on Friday. The Bantams improved to 12-8, while the Bears moved to 3-10 and the Anchormen sit at 11-12. Trinity stays on the road to face New York University and Hunter College on February 18.

At 141, Herbert pinned Bridgewater State's Lucas Purpora at 3:20, while Kevin Lyskawa (Londonberry, N.H.) took down Williams Conniff at 1:58 in the 165 lbs. match. Frost won by technical fall against Amauris Gomes at 174 and Klass defeated Ryan MCarthy by major decision, 10-1. The Bears and Bantams came down to the final match at 285, but Timothy Glynn (West Windsor, N.J.) was pinned at 4:13 by Ryan Higgins.

Adam Schaeublin (Salem, Mass.) won by technical fall at 3:57 over Thomas Malone in the 141 match and notched the first points for the Navy & Gold against Rhode Island. Hebert recorded his second win of the match with a takedown over Michael Pestana at 1:08, followed Perry with a 5-4 decision over Eric Zane. Frost pinned Robert Dombrowski at 3:34 before Klass's quick takedown at 0:53 over Matthew Myers for the game-winning points.
