HARTFORD, Conn. - Junior diver Jackson Camporin (New Canaan, Conn.) was named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Swimming and Diving All-Conference team for his outstanding performance off the three-meter diving board in the NESCAC Championship Meet at Wesleyan University on Saturday. Camporin posted a score of 441.15, which qualifies him provisionally for the NCAA Division III Championships in March, and added a sixth-place score of 386.90 to earn points for Trinity in both events. The Bantams, coached by Hannah Hagy (1st Season), finished 2022-23 with a 3-6 record in dual meets and placed 11th in the NESCAC Championship team standings.
Camporin, who earned All-NESCAC honors with a third-place score off the one-meter board in 2021-22, finished first in the three-meter diving at six of eight events this winter and was second in the other two prior to the NESCAC Championships. He owns Trinity's all-time best score of 466.0 in three-meter diving for 11 dives and its best off the one-meter board with both six dives and 11 dives. A graduate of New Canaan High School, Camporin is majoring in psychology at Trinity. He is the son of Carla and Wenton Camporin.
