MEDFORD, Mass. — The Trinity College men's track & field performed well at the Cupid Challenge hosted by Tufts University with nine top-ten finishes as the Bantams placed seventh out of nine teams on Saturday. Trinity heads to Boston University on February 10 for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at 1 p.m.
In the shotput,
Ethan Wilkie (Ellington, Conn.) took second with a 15.49 meter throw and placed fourth in eight throw with a 15.98 meter heave. In the 60 meter hurdles preliminary round
Kai Bailin (Shutesbury, Mass.) placed third with a time of 8.77 to qualify for the final round as the senior finished seventh overall after clocking in 0.03 seconds fast with a time of 8.74. Bailin also placed seventh in the 400m with a time of 52.14.Â
In the 60m dash, Zuri Johnson (Powder Springs, Ga.) crossed the finish line with a time of 7.47 for fourth place and secured eighth in the 200m with a time of 23:617.
Nolan McKenna (Boston, Mass.) earned the fifth spot with a time of 1:23.74 in the 600m and
