GORHAM, MAINE - Seniors Anders Klass (Braintree, Mass.) and Kevin Lyskawa (Londonderry, N.H.) both won three times to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 3-0 sweep in a quad match at the University of Southern Maine this afternoon.  Trinity improves to 11-7 with a 44-9 win over the Plymouth State Panthers, aa 27-21 victory over the Western New England University Golden Bears, and a 30-19 triumph over the host Huskies.  

Trinity opened the day against Western New England and came back from a 12-0 deficit to win five bouts in a row and take a 24-12 lead with three weight classes remaining.  Klass earned a 5-3 victory over WNE's Darby McLaughlin, the No. 3-ranked wrestler at 197 pounds in the region, to clinch the Bantam win.  Trinity junior 174-pounder Adam Frost (Bennington, Vt.) and sophomores Aidan Hebert (Bethany, Conn.) and Chris Perry (Lake Mohegan, N.Y.) collected six points each with pins at 133 and 141 pounds, respectively, while Lyskawa and fellow senior Nico Patch (Lake Oswego, Ill.) pulled out hard-earned decisions, 5-4, and 4-2, at 165 and 157 pounds, respectively.

The Bantams had four forfeit wins against Plymouth State, along with pins by rookie 141-pounder Adam Schaueblin (Salem, Mass.) and Lyskawa, a win by technical fall for Perry, and a winning decision by Patch against the Panthers.  In the Southern Maine match, pins by Lyskawa, Frost, and Klass and a 7-3 win for rookie 184-pounder Cooper Kelley (Sandown, N.H.) turned a 13-9 deficit into an insurmountable 30-13 lead.  Schaueblin also won, 11-5, by decision against the Huskies.
