ROANOKE, Va. — First-year Adam Schaeublin (Salem, Mass.) records a win in the for the Trinity College wrestling team at the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships at the Berglund Center Roanoke, Va. on Friday. The Bantams finish the two-day event on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Schaeublin fell in the first round to Stevens Institute of Technology's Nico Diaz in an 8-3 decision but rallied back in the consolation round with a 6-4 decision win over Desmond Diggs from Mount St. Joseph University. In the consolation second round, the rookie dropped a 17-3 major decision over Gettysburg College's Luke Kowolski.

Chris Perry (Mohegan Lake, N.Y.) went 0-2 on the day with a pin at 6:17 by Augsburg University's Charlie Stuhl and loss in a 5-1 decision with Jake Burford from the University of Wisconsin-Whtewater.
