BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Senior Travis Martin (New Haven, Conn.) posted a fifth-place time of 4:06.98 in the mile run at the NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track and Field Championship Meet at Birmingham CrossPlex this afternoon. Martin edged the sixth-place finisher by .01 seconds while Ryan Wilson, of MIT, had a time of 4:02.62.  Also today, Bantam junior Ethan Wilkie (Ellington, Conn.) finished 11th in the shot put with a heave of 51'06.25".  Martin had qualified for the finals in the mile with a time of 4:07.91 in his preliminary heat yesterday.  Martin's performance will give Trinity four points in the team standings.
