MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — The Trinity College women's tennis team fell 9-0 to Wesleyan University on Saturday. The Bantams moved to 1-2 overall and 0-2 in the New England Small College Athletic Conference, while the Cardinals improved to 4-0 and 2-0. Trinity hosts Hamilton College on Sunday with a 10 a.m. match at the Assaiante Tennis center.

No. 1 doubles duo Isabella Hartman (New York, N.Y.) and Josephine Kimball (New York, N.Y.) had close match against Kristina Yu and Sasha Gaeth, but fell 8-4 for the final pairs' point. In the first set at No. 3 singles Angelina Shyltsyna (Odessa, Ukraine) narrowly loss with a 6-4 set before falling in the second 6-1.
