HARTFORD, Conn. - Trinity College men's rower Nicholas Roll (Pelham Manor, N.Y) was featured on NBC Connecticut's CT Live with Taylor Kinzler on March 10.  Roll recently donated one of his kidneys to his mother and is now just getting back to competitive rowing on the water.  He has been working himself back into competitive shape with the spring season on the horizon and he discusses this process and more on the special.  Trinity Men's rowing, coached by Kevin MacDermott (14th Season), completed a successful season with an eighth place finish in the Collegiate Eights race at the Head of the Charles in October.  Trinity also competed in the Head of the Housatonic Regatta and the Quinsigamond Snake Regatt, and hosted races as part of the Riverfront Recapture Regatta.  The Bantams open the spring campaign on April 8 on Malden River in Massachusetts against Coast Guard, Tufts, and Williams.  Earlier this academic year, MacDermott, Roll and the Bantam oarsmen were featured in a US Rowing Video as part of the festivities at the Annual Golden Oars event in November at Tribeca 360 in New York City.
