NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Trinity College women's track and field team is set to travel to Connecticut College this weekend to participate in the 2023 NESCAC Men's and Women's Track and Field Championships.  The event will be held on Saturday, April 29 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Connecticut College's Silfen Field and Track in New London, Conn.  Last spring at Middlebury, the Panthers captured the 2022 Women's Track and Field title.  The 2023 NESCAC Track and Field Championships will be webcast live at NESCAC.com and live results will also be available.  Final results will be posted at the conclusion of the meet at NESCAC.com.  Trinity senior Kamila Zygadlo (Wroclaw, Poland) is a returning 2022 champion, placing first in the hammer throw last spring.  Zygadlo looks to retain her title this weekend, as she currently has the best distance so far this season.  She also is in contention for the discus title, as she has the second-best score in that event this spring.  Another name to watch for is junior Gabby Grattan (Milton, Mass.), as she looks to take the high jump crown.
