HARTFORD, Conn. - Trinity College senior Kamila Zygadlo (Wroclaw, Poland) and junior Gabby Grattan (Milton, Mass.) have qualified for the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y. on May 25 to 27. 

Zygadlo qualified in the hammer throw with a distance of 177'03 which is a new Trinity record and ranks 16th among all the top heaves in NCAA Division III this spring.  Zygadlo, who is making her first NCAA Nationals appearance, won the hammer at the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championships in both 2022 and 2023.

Grattan qualified in the high jump, clearing a height of 5'07.00" to tie for the seventh-best top performance in the event this spring and tying her own Bantam all-time mark.  She is making her second consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Championships, having earned All-American recognition for her eighth-place finish in the 2022 championship meet in Alabama.
