PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Trinity College Wrestling squad finished eight overall at the 2024 New England Wrestling Association Duals, hosted by Johnson & Wales University, at the Wildcat Center Sunday afternoon. The Bantams collected a 29-17 win over Worcester Poly before falling to host Johnson & Wales (57-0), Western New England (21-18) and Wesleyan (28-21).
Senior Timothy Glynn went 3-0 on the day, collecting two wins by fall and another victory by decision. Junior Chris Perry posted a 3-0 day, grabbing two wins by major decision and a final win by forfeit. Senior Adam Frost recorded a 2-0 trip, notching wins by fall and decision. First-year Alexander Schaeublin and sophomore Matthew Carrozza both went 2-2 across four matches on the day.
The Bantams will return to the mats when they travel to Alvernia University for the Alvernia Quad Meet on January 27 in Reading, Pa. Trinity will open the meet against host Alvernia at 10:00 a.m.
