BOSTON, Mass. – The Trinity College Men's Track and Field team collected seven top 10 finishes, including four top 3 finishes, at the 2024 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Invitational, hosted at the TRACK at New Balance Sunday afternoon.
Senior Ethan Wilkie won the shot put event with a throw of 16.14 meters, beating the field by more than half a meter, and claimed fifth in the weight throw with a toss of 15.36 meters.
Senior Toby L'Esperance placed second in the 1 mile run with a time of 4:18.57, while junior Lars Sippel took third in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:56.87.
The 4x400 meter relay team of junior Nolan McKenna, sophomore Zuri Johnson, L'Esperance and Sippel finished third at 3:23.56. McKenna took fifth in the 400 meter with a time of 50.83, while first-year Donovan Koukal-Kollie placed sixth in the triple jump with a leap of 12.41 meters.
The Bantams will be back in action for the Cupid Challenge, hosted by Tufts University, on February 3 at 10:00 a.m.
