NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Trinity College Men's Tennis squad posted a record of 15-5 against Connecticut College and Coast Guard Academy during the Connecticut College Invitational Saturday.
The Bantams registered a 10-4 mark in singles play, and a 5-1 record in doubles action. Senior
Jack Ginter, first-year
Axel Edstrom, sophomore
Luca Garbati and junior
Brandon Felcher all notched 2-0 records in singles play, while seniors
Bud Fisher and
Marcus Carlsson went 1-1.
In doubles action, the pairing of senior
Pierce Rutledge and Felcher went 2-0, while the team of Edstrom and Garbati split a pair of matches. Carlsson grabbed a pair of doubles wins, partnering with Fisher and Ginter in the victories.
The Bantams will be back in action at the Wesleyan Invitational Sunday afternoon, followed by a trip to Bates College for the Wallach Invitational on October 12-13.
