ROME, N.Y. – The Trinity College Women's Golf team placed 12
th in the 14 team field at the 2024 Hamilton College Fall Invitational, hosted at Rome Country Club Saturday and Sunday. The Bantams registered a team score of 716 across two rounds of competition.
First-year
Meg Lavinder placed 48
th overall to lead the Bantams, carding an 84 in Round 1, followed by an 86 in Round 2. Sophomore
Koto Freeman finished 60
th on the leaderboard, improving by six strokes from Round 1 to Round 2 with scores of 92 and 86. Junior
Himena Yamane was two strokes back in 61
st with a total of 180, firing a consistent 90 in both rounds. Senior
Catherine Wallace was 65
th with a 182 (88-94), followed by sophomore
Mali Van in 68
th with a 186 (93-93).
Amherst College and Wellesley College tied atop the team leaderboard with team scores of 622. Hamilton A Team (623), Babson (624) and Williams (624) rounded out the top five on the team leaderboard.
The Bantams will return to the course for their final Fall tune-up before the Spring season, traveling to the Battle at Bull's Bridge on October 28
th at Bull's Bridge Golf Club.
