MEDFORD, Mass. – The fourth-ranked Trinity College Men's Squash team defeated tenth-ranked Tufts University, 8-1, in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) match at the Tufts Squash Courts Saturday afternoon.
 
In the #1 match, junior Joachim Chuah Han Wen posted a 3-0 win (11-7, 11-4, 11-6) over Aarav Gill. First-year Low Wa-Sern and senior Mateo Restrepo each logged 3-0 victories in the #2 and #3 matches. In the #4 meeting, Junior Benedek Takacs battled to a 3-0 win (11-8, 12-10, 11-8) against Jared Chin, and senior Ahmed Ismail downed Shivin Kumar, 3-0 (11-4, 11-5, 11-7), at #5.
 
First-year Huzaifa Ibrahim rallied from a first-set loss to beat Ali Tarek, 3-1 (14-16, 11-2, 11-6, 11-9) in the #6 match. Senior Marawan ElBorolossy fell to Emerson Wang, 2-3 (12-10, 7-11, 14-12, 9-11, 4-11) at #7, while sophomore Dmytro Shcherbakov won 3-0 (11-1, 11-4, 11-6) over Mustafa Ayaz at #8, and senior Danial Izham grabbed a 3-1 victory (11-9, 11-3, 7-11, 11-5) in the #9 spot.
 
The Bantams will be back in action when they host 20^th-ranked Middlebury College Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
