MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Trinity College wrestling team opened its 2024-25 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) schedule with a 34-10 loss to the Wesleyan University Cardinals on Saturday afternoon.
Junior Matthew Carrozza earned one of the Bantams' victories, defeating Wesleyan's Michael Manieri by technical fall in the 133-pound weight class. In the heavyweight division, first-year Emre Sensoy also claimed a technical fall, winning 21-6 over Wesleyan's William Maffei to add five points to Trinity's total.
The Bantams will return to action on Saturday, November 23, when they travel to Springfield College for the Doug Parker Invitational, set to begin at 10 a.m.
