MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Trinity College Men's Indoor Track and Field team opened their 2024 season at the Wesleyan Winter Invite, hosted by Wesleyan University on Saturday morning.

Connor Quiet and Dylan Biggs each set personal records in the 60-meter dash.

The Bantam sprint trio of senior Nolan McKenna, junior Zuri Johnson, and first-year Liam Kelly swept the top three spots in both the 400-meter and 200-meter races, with all three qualifying for the DIII New England Championships in the 400-meter.

First-year Ryan Martin made his collegiate debut winning the 60-meter hurdles. Donovan Koukal-Kollie won the triple jump and Pete Passaro set a personal record in the shot put, both athletes earning a spot in the New England Championships.

Head Track and Field Coach John Michael Mason commented, "Our Bantams brought great competitive energy to their first meet of the indoor season today. Multiple personal records were set across nearly every event, and it was exciting to see our newest Bantams experience the energy of meet day at the collegiate level. The team is in a great place as we head into the winter break!"

The Trinity Track and Field Squad will be back in action on Friday, January 17th at the Ramapo Indoor Track Season Opener hosted by Ramapo College at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York, NY. The meet will begin at 10AM.
