#1 MSQ Dominated Against Bates in NESCAC Quarterfinals, 9-0

AMHERST, Mass. - Saturday afternoon #1 Trinity Men's Squash dominated Bates College 9-0 in the Quarterfinals of the New England Small College Conference (NESCAC). The Bantams will compete against Colby College in the semifinals on Sunday, Feb. 11th. In the event that they advance to the finals, Trinity Men's Squash will be competing for their 17th consecutive NESCAC title. 

Trinity's top nine athletes were unstoppable on the hardwood as they swept each Bobcat opponent one-by-one in their match. Abdelrahman Nassar and Bantams Henry Culhane battled in a tight first set, each coming close to surrendering a match point. Neither Trinity representative allowed their opponent to get the best of them as they both went on to sweep their matches, Nassar with set scores of 13-11, 11-4, 11-5, along with Culhane finishing with 12-10, 11-9, 11-9.

Each Bantam denied a Bobcat a match point, finishing the quarterfinal game with nine consecutive 3-0 sweeps.

Trinity is back on the hardwood for a match at 12PM against the Mules hosted at Amherst College.
